Inspection and Removal

• Inspection: Equipment inspection is available from 11:00 am through 2:00 pm, 23 JUL 2026. Inspection is by appointment only. Contact equipment custodian at least 24 hours prior to preferred inspection time to schedule inspection. Equipment is located on a government installation and hours are limited.
• Equipment Removal Schedule: Buyers will be contacted by Sierra Army Depot via email when equipment is available for pick-up. Equipment removal will begin on or about 17 AUG 2026 and continue through 17 SEPT, 2026. Removal times are 6:30 am through 2:00 pm MON-THUR, with last trucks allowed no later than 2:00 pm. No Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, or Federal Holidays.
• Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance.
• Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
• Load Out Requirements: Load out assistance is provided by Sierra Army Depot. Double stacking of trailers is not permitted, and trailers may not be towed off base. All trucks and trailers sold must be loaded and trailered away.
• Permitting Notice: Ensure that shippers and truck operators have obtained the proper Load permitting including National, State, County and any applicable local permits.
