• Installation Access: Equipment is located on a government installation and inspection hours are limited.
• Inspection Recommendation: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description.
• Equipment Removal Schedule: Buyers will be contacted by Sierra Army Depot via email when equipment is available for pick-up. Equipment removal will begin on or about 5 OCT 2026 and continue through 19 NOV 2026.
• Removal Hours: 6:30 a.m. through 2:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with the last trucks allowed no later than 2:00 p.m. No removals will be conducted on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, or Federal Holidays.
• Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance.
• Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see Terms and Conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
• Load-Out Requirements: Load-out assistance is provided by Sierra Army Depot. Double stacking of trailers is not permitted, and trailers may not be towed off base. All trucks and trailers sold must be loaded and trailered away.
• Permitting Notice: Purchasers are responsible for ensuring that their shippers and truck operators have obtained all required national, state, county, and applicable local load permits prior to removal.
