Overview

SonTek ADV-1 Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter. This lot is in salvage condition. The unit uses a desktop PC for power and data storage with standard cable length to PC of 10 meters. Includes tool kit with spare O-rings, screws and grease, and a bottle of seeding material. Case is included, however the probe configuration installed makes it too long to fit in case. Runs on MS DOS software not included, though SonTek has software downloads available online.

Condition & Markings

• This lot is in salvage condition. Parts are missing, and repairs are required.
• The probe cannot be tested due to lack of testing capability.
• Software is not included with the unit.
• Current probe configuration prevents proper storage in included case.

Inspection and Removal

• Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment.
• Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description.
• Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance.
• Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchasers receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
