Inspection and Removal

• Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays, by confirmed appointment only. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment.

• Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance.
• Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchasers receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
• Additional Information: All buyers and representatives must follow VA facility access requirements. A valid government-issued photo ID is required upon arrival, and visitors will be issued a local visitor pass. Depending on facility policy, access to removal areas may require escort. Only individuals listed on the purchaser's documentation or carrying a signed authorization letter will be permitted onsite for pickup. The treadmill is located on the second floor, and no loading dock is available at the pickup site. Buyers must bring all necessary manpower, equipment, tools, and a suitable vehicle capable of safely transporting a heavy commercial treadmill. VA personnel cannot assist with lifting, carrying, disassembly, or loading of any equipment. The treadmill is not packed, and buyers are responsible for providing all required packing materials, including blankets, straps, shrink-wrap, or any other protective items needed for transport. A signed purchaser's receipt must be presented prior to release of the property. Failure to comply with site access rules, provide necessary loading resources, or remove property within the required timeframe may result in delayed or denied entry, cancellation of the sale, and potential loss of future purchasing privileges.
